For episode three of The Broadway Cast, Playbill welcomes stage and screen actors Jennifer Morrison, Jeremy Jordan, and Lena Hall to chat some of the differences between working for film and television, and on Broadway—from auditions to being on set, and everything in between.

Morrison made her Broadway debut in The Miracle Worker and recently wrapped up performances in Matthew Perry’s The End of Longing Off-Broadway. She has had recurring roles on How I Met Your Mother and House, and starred on ABC’s Once Upon a Time for six seasons. Tony nominee Jordan is best-known for his performance as Jack Kelly in Newsies, and has also performed on Broadway in Bonnie & Clyde, West Side Story, and Rock of Ages. His screen credits include The Last Five Years and he's currently co-starring on the CW's Supergirl. Hall is a Tony winner for her performance as Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and has performed on Broadway in Kinky Boots, Tarzan, Dracula, 42nd Street, and Cats. On screen, she has appeared in Girls and All My Children, and stars in the film 2017 film Becks.

Listen to the third episode below, in which the actors chat first gigs, the roles they wanted but didn’t get, and that moment when they realized that they wanted to perform for a living.

Each episode, hosted by Broadway vet Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida), features a mix of guests who make Broadway what it is: the stars, the creatives, the notable movers and shakers, and more.

In addition to in-studio guests, The Broadway Cast invites fans and theatre pros from around the world to call in and participate—to chat dream casting, industry trends, news, and everything in between.
