The Civil War, the Broadway musical subtitled "our story in song," can now be had for a song -- on a limited basis.

"Rush seats" at $20 per ticket are now available for all performances of the conceptual theatrical concert on the same day of performance, at the St. James Theater. Pace Theatricals president and Civil War producer Scott Zeiger said the effort was to make the show more accessible, particularly for young people on a budget.

The rush seats are available for select seats in the orchestra and mezzanine on the day of performance only and are available on a first come, first-serve basis. Rush sales begin 10 AM daily, noon Sundays, at the St. James box office, 246 W. 44th St.

There is a limit of four tickets per person. A $1 theatre restoration charge will be added to the price of each ticket.

The Civil War is nominated for two Tony Awards: Best Musical and Best Score (composer Frank Wildhorn and lyricist Jack Murphy). For additional information, call (212) 239-6200.
