News The Clinton-Lewinsky Scandal -- The Musical, in Hollywood Feb. 11-28 Starr Struck: A Musical Investigation, a revue based on the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, will have its world premiere Feb. 11 at the 2nd Stage Theatre in Hollywood. Based on transcripts and news reports of the year-long scandal in the White House, the show has music by Stephen Bates and concept & lyrics by Alan Jay Glueckman. The director and choreographer is Daniel Henning, artistic director of the Blank Theatre Company.

Starr Struck: A Musical Investigation, a revue based on the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, will have its world premiere Feb. 11 at the 2nd Stage Theatre in Hollywood. Based on transcripts and news reports of the year-long scandal in the White House, the show has music by Stephen Bates and concept & lyrics by Alan Jay Glueckman. The director and choreographer is Daniel Henning, artistic director of the Blank Theatre Company. The piece will include all the major figures of the investigation, including Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky, Ken Starr, Hillary Clinton, Matt Drudge, Paula Jones and Linda Tripp. Heading the cast is Jennifer Leigh Warren, who recently won an Ovation Award for her performance in BTC's Hello Again. Others include Tricia Leigh Fisher as Lewinsky, Michael Halpin as Clinton, Mary-Pat Green as Linda Tripp, Harry Murphy as Starr, Steve Lipinsky as Drudge, Kristina Sanborn as Hillary and Jordan Lund.

Starr Struck will run through Feb. 28 at the 2nd Stage, 6500 Santa Monica Blvd. Call (310) 289-2999.
