NYC's Expanded Arts will continue their popular summer series "Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot" with William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, June 2 - 26, opening June 10. The play is free and will be performed in the open air of the municipal parking lot at Broome and Ludlow Streets on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
Expanded Arts Artistic Director Jennifer Spahr will direct this free offering, performed in the style of a typical 70's sitcom.
The cast includes Davis Hall (Bway's Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot's Macbeth), Oliver Vaquer, Vinnie Penna, Benjamin Olsen, Jason C. Brown, Maitreya Friedman, Heather Anne McAllister, Susan Moses, Rick Ross, and Lee Traxler.
Upcoming Parking Lot productions include: Richard III (July 7-31), and Measure for Measure (Aug. 14-28).
