Playwright Stephen Belber's play The Death of Frank has come to life at Off-Off-Broadway's Synchronicity Space, where it will open April 22. The drama, a runner-up at the Actor's Theatre of Louisville's 1997 Humana Festival, concerns a brother and sister torn by emotional violence and class relationships. Belber has had more than 20 New York productions -- six last year alone. His other plays include Through Fred and Psychotic Busboy Blues. French director Lucie Tiberghien has staged several Belber works in the past and is the artistic director of the French and American Compagnie Charniere.
The Death of Frank runs through May 3. For information, call (212) 330-6824.
