The sketch comedy group Oculingus will perform their "Evening of Eye Lickin’ Good Sketch Comedy” on Thursday, June 22. The sketches are written and performed by the 13-member group and can be seen at the New York Comedy Club.

The show consists of situation comedy, bizarre scenes, and whacked-out characters. Among these skits are “Dr. Chancellor,” your psycho-therapist nightmare; “The Twins,” a pair of Siamese twins always fighting with each other; and “The Flame,” a gay Superhero who rescues his victims from fashion tragedies.

The group was started last year, rehearsing for months and playing numerous small venues. This performance will be their largest to date. According to a spokesman for the group, "This is our best material." Everyone from the group has submitted material to this performance. The company's website notes that the group's name was taken from an apparently real and documented sexual fetish.

The “Eye-Lickin’” show presents new skits for the group’s summer line. Tickets are $6 with a two-drink minimum during the show. For reservations, call (212) 696-5233. The New York Comedy Club is at 241 East 24 Street, between 2 and 3 Ave. The show begins at 9 PM. For more information, visit www.oculingus.com.
