The production continues through Feb. 22.

Directed by Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), the cast includes Sofiya Akilova ("Listen Up Philip," The Cherry Orchard), Celeste Arias (Motherf*cker with a Social Life, Demon Dreams), Stéphanie Hayes (February House, Old-Fashioned Prostitutes), Jessica Jelliffe (The Sewers, "Stingray Sam") Felicity Jones (Metamorphoses, Measure for Measure) and Emily Walton (Peter and the Starcatcher, August: Osage County).

"Once upon a time — in 2005 — a twenty-year-old girl named Annie returned to her native Russia to brush up on the language and lose her American accent," press notes state. "Underneath a glamorous Post-Soviet Moscow studded with dangerously high heels, designer bags, and luxe fur coats, she discovers an enchanted motherland teeming with evil stepmothers, wicked witches, and ravenous bears. Annie must learn how to become the heroine of a story more mysterious and treacherous than any childhood fairytale: her own."

The production features scenic design by Christopher Ash; costumes by KJ Kim; lighting by Bradley King; and sound design, music direction and original music by Chad Raines. Jane Guyer Fujita is vocal and dialect coach, Rick Sordelet is fight director, Amy Boratko is dramaturg, and Hannah Sullivan is stage manager. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting.
