News The Fantasticks' Aaron Carter to Go It Solo at Gramercy Theatre in January Pop singer Aaron Carter, who is currently starring in the Off-Broadway run of The Fantasticks, will perform a Jan. 19, 2012, solo concert at the Gramercy Theatre.

In addition to his self-titled debut album, he has released "Aaron's Party," "Oh, Aaron," "Another Earthquake" and the collection album "Most Requested Hits." Carter toured as the opening act for The Backstreet Boys, of which his brother Nick Carter, is a member.

Carter joined the cast of The Fantasticks in the role of Matt Nov. 7. He previously played Jojo/The Littlest Who in the Broadway cast of Seussical.

The Fantasticks is the world's longest-running musical, having played a record-breaking run of more than 17,000 performances in Greenwich Village. Harvey Schmidt wrote the music, and Tom Jones penned the book and lyrics.
