James offers performances Dec. 3 at 9:30 PM and Dec. 18 at 7 PM. Inner Superman was last performed at the Metropolitan Room to a sold-out house in October.

Here's how the show is described: "While audiences (especially women) thrill to James' baritone voice and magnetic good looks, and despite constant reinforcement from the roles he's cast in and the screaming crowds he plays to, Jeremiah sees himself as a geeky, goofy guy who has trouble getting out of his own way. My Inner Superman, developed at the O'Neill Cabaret and Performance Festival in August, is an exploration in music and anecdote of this conflict between the man in the mirror and boyish nerd inside."

James, who plays Sky and Scud the Rat in The Great American Mousical, has also been seen in Off-Broadway's The Fantasticks and the West End revival of Carousel.

The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues). For more information and reservations, call (212) 206-0440 or visit MetropolitanRoom.com.
