The Hell Show, which premiered at Theatre/Theater in Hollywood this past spring, was successful enough to warrant a return engagement at the new home of L.A. TheatreSports, the Bitter Truth Theatre in the NoHo arts district. Previously a late-night production, The Hell Show has been moved into a prime-time slot for the first time.

The show, which will run through Oct. 28, is performed on Saturday nights at 8 PM. Created by Brian Lohmann and directed by Lohmann and Dan O'Connor, it deals with seven sinners who can stave off eternal damnation in the fires of hell by improvising a musical to please both a demon bureaucrat and the audience (a tour group sponsored by the Purgatory Advisory Board). The audience assists in determining whether the condemned get a reprieve or are immediately damned forever.

Cast members include Justin Bowler, Tracy Burns, Lisa Frederickson, Kelly Holden, Doug Langdale, O'Connor, Edi Patterson, Sue Peahle, Michele Spears, Mark Tracy, Chris Vose and David Warick.

Extreme TheatreSports, an improv show, continues every Friday night at the Bitter Truth through Oct. 6.
