Irish is a comic and poignant look (through dialogue and traditional songs) at Irish history and the Irish immigrant experience in America. McCourt, a former English teacher in the New York City public schools, won a Pulitzer Prize for Angela's Ashes, about his childhood in Limerick.
The director is Charlotte Moore.
The cast includes Terry Donnelly, Bob Green, Donna Kane, Rusty Magee, Ciaran O'Reilly and Ciaran Sheehan.
