Josiah Bania (The Good Wife) and Marcel Spears (The Mayor) have joined the cast of the West Coast premiere of Martyna Majok’s Ironbound, which begins performances January 30, 2018, at California’s Geffen Playhouse.

Bania will reprise his role of Maks, which he played Off-Broadway at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in 2016. Spears will play Vic. Chris Messina (The MIndy Project) had been announced to play Tommy, but had to exit the role. A replacement has not yet been announced.
Directed by Tyne Rafaeli (Goodspeed’s Chasing Rainbows), the show plays through March 4.
The production features scenic design by Tim Mackabee, costume design by Elizabeth Caitlin Ward, lighting design by Lap Chi Chu, and sound design by Leon Rothenberg. Casting is by Phyllis Schuringa, CSA.
