Off-Broadway’s Miranda Theatre Company begins performances of the new play, Innocent Thoughts, May 14 at its namesake theatre on 259 W. 30th St. The play, by the Tennessee-Williams like-named William Missouri Downs, will be directed by Valentina Fratti. In Innocent Thoughts, an African-American attorney and a Jewish anthropologist, who grew up at odds in a racially divided neighborhood, are assigned to the same murder case. The cast features Patrick Frederic and Daniel Whitner.
