Jeffrey Finn (Broadway's Dead Accounts, Oleanna, Seminar, On Golden Pond) is the producer attached to the new play by the screenwriter and playwright known for Some Girl(s), The Shape of Things, Fat Pig, The Distance From Here, The Mercy Seat, In a Dark Dark House and the upcoming Reasons to be Happy, getting its world premiere (directed by the author) by Off-Broadway's MCC Theater this spring.

Here's how The Money Shot is billed: "Two famous couples get together to discuss an upcoming sex scene that two of them are facing onscreen. What follows is a romp through the raging insecurities, petty power struggles and name-dropping silliness that comes with the fame and fortune of being a movie star. Egos will be shattered. Fisticuffs will ensue. Great quantities of wine will be imbibed. All before dinner. Welcome to Hollywood."

Director Kinney, a Tony Award nominee as an actor in Broadway's The Grapes of Wrath in 1990, is a co-founder of Steppenwolf Theatre Company, for which he has directed (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and more) and acted (Grapes of Wrath and Buried Child, among others). He also directed Off-Broadway's Checkers, After Ashley, Beautiful Child and Eyes for Consuela.
