The Mysteries, a South African take on England's medieval mystery plays, played to packed houses at the Queen's Theatre earlier this year and has won international acclaim.
Three special performances are to be staged on June 20 and 21 at Wilton's Music Hall, to enable the production to be recorded for posterity on video and DVD by Heritage Theatre.
The medieval originals were designed to be performed at religious holidays, but this West End sensation can be enjoyed at any time of the year, and its staging in one of London's most unusual venues — a genuine East End music hall — adds to the theatricality of the event.
