PlayBlog The Newest Lady on "The View": Dame Edna (Video) Shield your eyes! The spangliest star on Broadway, Dame Edna Everage, joined the chattiest ladies in show business when she co-hosted The View this morning.

The panel covered such topics as the Dame’s love life (“I am dipping my toes in the dating pool; I’m seeing Governor Paterson.”), Madonna’s adoption choices, and – why not? - lactation.

When guest Jennifer Love Hewitt joined the ladies on the couch, Dame Edna presented her with a bag of spare jewels and some Elmer’s glue after asking Hewitt about “a spooky thing that you must have invented, called ‘vajazzling.’” (I’ll let you google that one for yourself.)

After spending the morning on "The View," Dame Edna will spend her evening on stage in All About Me, the new Broadway show she was there to promote. Despite a long-standing “feud” with co-star Michael Feinstein, the pair joined forces for "The View"’s lucky audience members and performed “We Get Along Amazingly Well.”

How well? According to the song, “like Amy Winehouse and the bottle/like Tiger Woods and any swimsuit model.”

By all means, enjoy:
