Nancy Opel and John Pankow play feuding marrieds who clash when neighbor Barbra Streisand gets married and he's not invited. Julie White created the wife role in the Philadelphia world premiere in 2002, and Off-Broadway. She's now a Playwrights Horizons in Bad Dates. Nancy Opel took over May 9. David Warren directed both stagings. The comedy will have played 24 previews and 117 performances at the Westside, 407 W. 43rd Street, between Ninth and Tenth Avenues.
Barbra's Wedding began previews Feb. 11 and opened March 5. Because of the small cast size and amiable material, the play is likely to have a large life in regional theatre in the coming seasons.
Performances are Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 PM; Saturdays at 2:30 PM and 8 PM; Sundays at 3 PM and 7:30 PM.
All tickets are $60. For information, call (212) 239-6200 or visit www.barbraswedding.com.
