The Play What I Wrote is to return to Wyndham's Theatre for a second season in October.

The Morecambe and Wise tribute comedy, starring Hamish McColl and Sean Foley, directed by Kenneth Branagh, will start previews on October 30, open on November 5 and is scheduled to run to January 4, 2003.

The play's success is largely due to the script and performances but has a huge bonus in the appearance of constantly changing guest celebrities, which gives an air of surprise and extra pleasure to each performance, as well as giving major stars an entertaining night on the West End stage.

This winning combination won The Play What I Wrote an Olivier Award.
