Musical actor Jim Walton and actor-director Lonny Price will be the guests of Seth Rudetsky's weekly cabaret variety show at NYC's Don't Tell Mama, Aug. 3.
Rudetsky, a comedian and writer for Rosie O'Donnell's TV show, hosts his variety show -- the press materials call it a combination of "Mike Douglas, Dr. Seuss and Pee Wee Herman" -- every Thursday at 6 PM. There's a 2-drink minimum, but the $10 cover charge is donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Walton's credits include the concert staging of Ziegfeld Follies of 1936 and Another Midsummer Night at Chicago's Goodman Theatre. Price, recently appointed artistic director of Musical Theatre Works, has staged such shows as Sally Marr... and Off-Broadway revivals of Juno and The Rothschilds.
