News The Quality of Mercy: Prinz Stars in World Premiere, Killing Louise, Off-Bway Rosemary Prinz is among cast members in the world premiere of Carol Galligan's Killing Louise, an Off-Broadway presentation by CAP21 (Collaborative Arts Project), March 4-29.

CAP21, known for its workshops and readings of new works and its performance conservatory, is also a producing organization with its own space, the CAP21 Theatre on 28th Street. The play is billed this way: "Set in the home and in the mind of the ailing, 89-year-old Louise (played by Prinz), the play confronts questions of conscience, law and morality when she asks her best friend to help her die."

Designers are Beowulf Boritt (set), David F. Segal (lighting), Jane Greenwood (costumes) and Randy Hansen (sound). Scott Wise (State Fair, Fosse, Movin' Out) stages a dance sequence in the play, which was seen in CAP21's development reading series over the past two years.

Performances at CAP21 Theatre, 15 West 28th Street, begin March 4, with an opening night of March 12. Performances play 8 PM Tuesdays-Saturdays.

Tickets are $19. For reservations to Killing Louise, call the CAP21 box office at (212) 807-0202.
