News The Rocky Horror Show to Launch 40th Anniversary U.K. Tour Richard O' Brien's cult musical The Rocky Horror Show will launch a new 40th anniversary U.K.-wide tour, beginning performances at Brighton's Theatre Royal Dec. 20.

The tour will then continue to Bristol, Wimbledon, Birmingham, Aylesbury, Liverpool, Sunderland, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Grimsby, Manchester, York, Richmond, Stoke, Bromley, Woking, Torquay and Milton Keynes, with further dates to be announced.

The musical first premiered at the Royal Court's Theatre Upstairs in June 1973 before transferring to a former cinema on the King's Road in Chelsea, and subsequently being made into a cult film in 1975, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
