News THE SCREENING ROOM: "Behind the Screams" at Goodspeed's Something's Afoot, Parts 3 and 4 (Video) The murder mystery spoof Something's Afoot concludes Goodspeed Musicals' 2012 season. Here, in a video distributed by the Tony-winning organization, cast member Bronson Norris Murphy offers a sneak peek of the musical, which opens Oct. 24 in East Haddam, CT.

In the third and fourth episodes of Goodspeed's "Behind the Screams" series, Murphy, an understudy in the company, sits down with Clive the Butler, played by Ron Wisniski, and Dr. Grayburn, played by Peter Van Wagner.

The musical began previews Oct. 5 at Goodspeed Opera House.

The cast includes Liz Pearce (Billy Elliot) as Lettie, Khris Lewin (Goodspeed's My One And Only) as Flint, Wisniski (Goodspeed's Me and My Girl) as Clive, Julia Osborne (Goodspeed's Half a Sixpence) as Hope Langdon, Van Wagner ("Boardwalk Empire") as Dr. Grayburn, Benjamin Eakeley (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever) as Nigel Rancour, Drama Desk nominee Lynne Wintersteller (A Grand Night for Singing) as Lady Manley-Prowe, Ed Dixon (Anything Goes) as Colonel Gillweather, Audrie Neenan (Sister Act) as Miss Tweed and Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music) as Geoffrey. Understudies are Madeleine Doherty, Alyssa Gagarin and Murphy.

Here's how Goodspeed describes the work: "An old English mansion. A raging thunderstorm. Ten strangers. Murder, mystery, music and comedy abound when the guests disappear one by one – knocked off by cleverly fiendish devices. Join the fun as Miss Tweed the amateur sleuth sets out to solve the crimes…but the butler didn't do it!" The limited engagement of Something's Afoot continues through Dec. 9.
