News THE SCREENING ROOM: Bernadette Peters, Angela Lansbury and More Perform Jerry Herman Tunes (Video) Jerry's Girls, celebrating the music of Tony Award-winning Hello, Dolly! and Mame composer-lyricist Jerry Herman, opened on Broadway Dec. 18, 1985. In celebration of the production, Playbill.com has put together a musical tribute.

The musical featured leading ladies Dorothy Loudon, Chita Rivera and Leslie Uggams and included songs from Hello, Dolly!; Mame; La Cage aux Folles; and Mack and Mabel, among others.
