News THE SCREENING ROOM: Bucquisto Concert, Featuring Ann Harada, Nick Cearley, George Salazar and More (Video) Bucquisto: The Bar Mitzvah Concert, which celebrated the 13th anniversary of songwriters Sammy Buck and Daniel S. Acquisto, was held June 17 at The Duplex. Here are highlights from the evening.

Directed by Tim Drucker with musical direction by Scott Ethier, the concert featured Becca Ayers (Dogfight), Nick Cearley (The Skivvies, All Shook Up), James Donegan (Forbidden Broadway), Ann Harada (Cinderella), Nathan Johnson, Amy Rutberg, George Salazar (Godspell), Hollis Scarborough and Joanna Young (The Drowsy Chaperone).

Here's how the concert was described: "Thirteen years have passed since the fateful day Dan Acquisto and Sammy Buck sat down in a dusky midtown office at a piano once owned by Stephen Sondheim, and wrote their first song together. After seven shows you may have seen, two shows you have yet to see and a show that will never see the light of day, they invite you to celebrate their collaboration in an evening of foul-mouthed swans, a town besieged by vampires and songs they didn't write with each other. Dust off your yarmulke (optional) and join the fun!"
