The Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus long-running jukebox musical opened on Broadway Oct. 18, 2001, and received five 2002 Tony Award nominations, including Best Actress (Louise Pitre), Best Book (Catherine Johnson), Best Featured Actress (Judy Kaye), Best Orchestrations (Andersson, Ulvaeus and Martin Koch) and Best Musical.
