News THE SCREENING ROOM: Heather Headley Records "I Have Nothing" For Bodyguard Musical (Video) Heather Headley, the Tony Award-winning Aida actress, will star in the upcoming West End production of The Bodyguard. Here, the leading lady records "I Have Nothing," a song from the musical, which was made famous by the late Whitney Houston.

As previously reported, Thea Sharrock will direct The Bodyguard, based on the Lawrence Kasdan-scripted Warner Bros. film of the same name. Performances will begin Nov. 6 at London's Adelphi Theatre. Opening night is set for Dec. 5.

Headley will portray Rachel Marron, and Lloyd Owen will be Frank Farmer, the roles made famous on film by Houston and Kevin Costner, respectively.

A romantic thriller, The Bodyguard features a multitude of Houston's greatest hits, including "Queen of the Night," "So Emotional," "One Moment in Time," "Saving All My Love," "I'm Your Baby Tonight," "Run to You," "I Have Nothing," "How Will I Know," "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "I Will Always Love You."
