News THE SCREENING ROOM: Jeremy Jordan Talks About Upcoming Film, "Joyful Noise" (Video) Jeremy Jordan, who recently finished his run as Clyde Barrow in Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde, will soon be seen in the gospel movie musical "Joyful Noise," which hits theatres Jan. 13.

Here, Jordan talks with DanceOn about his character, Randy Garrity, a rebellious teenager who wants to join a small-town choir. In the film, he is joined by Dolly Parton, who plays his grandmother, and Queen Latifah.

The movie also features Keke Palmer, Kris Kristofferson, Courtney B. Vance, Jesse L. Martin, Chloe Bailey, Judd Lormand, Valencia Barnes, Cait Johnson, Steve Warren, Jilian McLendon, Katie Kneeland and Dexter Darden.

"Joyful Noise," from Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros., “centers on an unlikely friendship that’s the result of a choir director’s death. His widow (Parton) assumes she’s going to be left in charge of the struggling choir, but a strong-willed mother of two (Latifah) has already taken on the job. Soon, they learn to work together, and with the help of the choir, make musical magic on stage.”
