The concert, a specially conceived evening for Lincoln Center's 2013 American Songbook series, saluted the great roles for leading ladies and the sidekick scene stealers from an array of Broadway composers and lyricists. Richard Jay-Alexander directed; Mary-Mitchell Campbell music-directed and provided accompaniment.

Read Playbill.com's coverage of the concert here. Chenoweth won the Tony Award in 1999 for her performance in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She was nominated in 2004 for her performance in Wicked and has also been seen on Broadway in Steel Pier, Epic Proportions, The Apple Tree and Promises, Promises. The actress is also known for her film and television work, including "Glee," "Pushing Daisies" and the recent ABC series "GCB."

Her new CD, "Some Lessons Learned," arrived Sept. 13, 2011, on the Sony Masterworks label.

Kristin Chenoweth: The Dames of Broadway…All of ’Em!!! is the second of six recently announced Live From Lincoln Center programs to air this winter and spring on PBS. Ring Them Bells! A Kander & Ebb Celebration, featuring Rob Fisher, conductor, and Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley and special guests Joel Grey and Chita Rivera, aired Feb. 15.

Three programs will air in consecutive weeks in April: a special concert with Josh Groban on April 12 at 9 PM ET; Stephanie Blythe’s tribute to the wartime era songs of Kate Smith (Celebration: Stephanie Blythe Meets Kate Smith) on April 19 at 9 PM ET; and the New York Philharmonic’s staging of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s iconic musical Carousel starring Kelli O’Hara and Nathan Gunn on April 26 at 9 PM ET.

The final broadcast of the season airs May 24 at 9 PM ET with host Audra McDonald performing at a special gala concert.
