Andrew Keenan-Bolger, who will star as Crutchie in the upcoming Disney musical Newsies, has released the first part of his "Meet the Newsies" video series. Here, he describes his role in the new Broadway production.

Keenan-Bolger originated the role of Crutchie in the Paper Mill Playhouse limited engagement last fall. Newsies, the stage adaptation of the 1992 Disney movie musical, received its world premiere at New Jersey's Paper Mill, where it played through Oct. 16.

(Jordan, Dossett, Lindsay and Fankhauser will also reprise the roles they created in the Paper Mill Playhouse production.)

Newsies will begin performances March 15, prior to an official opening March 29, at the Nederlander Theatre. It will play a limited 101-performance engagement through June 10.
