When the cast gathered at "Inside the Actors Studio," an audience member asked Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel to sing "The Confrontation" from the musical Les Misérables. The two had previously performed the song on "The Megan Mullally Show."
The two gave an impassioned performance, with castmate Cobie Smulders, who had been sitting between them, moving out of the way mid-song.
Harris is currently starring in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway, which began performances March 29 prior to an official opening April 22.
