The animated musical film based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen" features songs by Avenue Q and Book of Mormon Tony winner Robert Lopez and his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez ("Winnie the Pooh," Up Here, In Transit). Tony Award winner Stephen Oremus (Kinky Boots, The Book of Mormon) has arranged some of the music in the film. Christophe Beck ("The Muppets," "Paperman") penned the original score.

It will arrive in theatres Nov. 27.

Tony Award winner Menzel (If/Then, Wicked, Rent) plays the Snow Queen, with Bell ("Reefer Madness," "Heroes") as Anna, Groff (Spring Awakening, The Submission, "Glee") as Kristof, Fontana (Cinderella) as Hans and Gad (The Book of Mormon) as Olaf.

Chris Buck ("Tarzan," "Surf's Up") directs the computer-animated film that has a script by Jennifer Lee ("Wreck-It Ralph") and is produced by Peter Del Vecho ("Winnie the Pooh," "The Princess and the Frog").

Here's how Disney characterizes the film: "In 'Frozen,' a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna (Bell) must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen (Menzel) and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction."
