"Joyful Noise," starring Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton, Jeremy Jordan and Keke Palmer, hit movie theatres Jan. 13. In the film, Palmer sings "Man in the Mirror," and Jordan covers "Maybe I'm Amazed."

Written and directed by Todd Graff, the cast also includes Kris Kristofferson, Courtney B. Vance, Jesse L. Martin, Chloe Bailey, Judd Lormand, Valencia Barnes, Cait Johnson, Steve Warren, Jilian McLendon, Katie Kneeland and Dexter Darden.

"Joyful Noise," from Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros., "centers on an unlikely friendship that’s the result of a choir director’s death. His widow (Parton) assumes she’s going to be left in charge of the struggling choir, but a strong-willed mother of two (Latifah) has already taken on the job. Soon, they learn to work together, and with the help of the choir, make musical magic on stage."
