After a season at The Gavea House in Rio de Janeiro, Two Hands a comedy by Carol Machado and Ingrid Guimaraes, opens in Sao Paulo at The Tuca Theatre Oct. 24 and closes Dec. 7.

Two Hands is directed by Demetrio Nicolau and includes the greatest cast of Brazilian voice-over stars ever assembled: Regina Duarte, Paulo Betti, Jose de Abreu, Natalia do Vale and Claudia Ohana.

Carol Machado and Ingrid Guimaraes play two elderly ladies with diverse attitudes and radical ideas who find they are living adjacent to one another. The seriousness of the subjects they insist on getting involved with only matters worse. Two Hands succeeds in dealing with loneliness, the conflict of generations, aging and death in a refreshing and hilarious manner.

To make the audience feel surrounded by the homely atmosphere of a grandmother´s house, certain aromatic scents are placed at strategic points in the theatre.

Tis comedy marked the authorial debut of actresses Carol Machado and Ingrid Guimaraes, famous for playing the two "spicy" teenagers in the hit Teenagers Confessions. This Play by Maria Mariana remained on the Brazilian stage for four years. Performances on Fri and Sat - 9 PM; Sun - 8 PM
