A veteran of Broadway's City of Angels, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Mamma Mia!, Galantich stars as Captain Von Trapp opposite Fisher (Little Women, Les Miserables) as Maria. Richard Stafford directs and choreographs the musical that runs through Aug. 2.

Portraying the Von Trapp children are Alex Bowers (Liesl), English Brewer Bernhardt (Louisa), Daniel Marhelko (Friedrich), Roxanna Demers (Brigitta), Trey Fitts (Kurt), Gabby Simone (Marta) and Mary Kate Englehardt (Gretl).

The Sound of Music also features Suzanne Ishee (The Phantom of the Opera, La Cage aux Folles) as Mother Abbess, as well as Christine Hunter as Elsa, Vinny Genna as Max and Aaron Young as Rolf.

Ensemble members include Mary Adamek, Katherine Anderson, Monique Argent, Karen Dear, Emily Feuerstein, Chantal Sosa Hollatschek, Heather Patterson King, Alison Lawrence, Judy Long, Kathleen Lynch, Hilary Russo, Alexa Wildish, J. Michael Beech, Larry Cox, Jason Mark Durst, Tal Fish, Chris King, Danny W. Norris and Jonathan Stahl.

Designing the resident production are Brian L. Hunt (sound design), Craig Stelzenmuller (lighting design), Bill Yates, Jr. (technical director) and Ann M. Bruskiewitz (costume design). Al Sturgis serves as musical director. The Sound of Music, the 1960 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, features music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, with a book penned by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. The 1965 film adaptation earned five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Songs from the stage production include "My Favorite Things," "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," Do-Re-Mi," "So Long, Farewell," "The Lonely Goatherd," "Edelweiss," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" and the title song.
