The Stone Angel, a Canadian Stage Company production at the St. Lawrence Centre, folds its wings on March 20 after six weeks. Canadian novelist Margaret Laurence’s classic was adapted for the stage by James W. Nichol, and directed by Janet White. It stars Nora McLellan in a hailed performance as the 90-year old Hagar, recalling her loveless, sexually repressed life.
