News "The Three Stooges," Starring Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos, Jane Lynch, Will Hit Movie Theatres in April "The Three Stooges," the upcoming 20th Century Fox comedy, will hit movie theatres April 4, 2012, according to Deadline.com.

Peter and Bobby Farrelly direct the film, which stars Tony Award nominee Sean Hayes (Promises, Promises) as Larry, Chris Diamantopoulos (The Full Monty) as Moe and Will Sasso as Curly.

The cast also includes Jane Lynch ("Glee") as Mother Superior, the nun who runs the Catholic orphanage where the trio grew up, and Jennifer Hudson ("Dreamgirls") as Sister Rosemary.

Stephen Collins (Spamalot) will play the movie's villain, Mr. Harter, who teams up with Sofia Vergara (Chicago, "Modern Family") to adopt the stooges. Craig Bierko and Larry David are also featured in the film.

"The Three Stooges" revolves around the boys as they are entangled in a murder plot and stumble into starring on a hit reality TV series. Simultaneously, the stooges are trying to save their childhood orphanage.
