News "The Voice" Coach Adam Levine Signs "Glee" Star Matthew Morrison to New Record Label Broadway and "Glee" star Matthew Morrison is the first artist to be signed to the new record label 222, which was recently launched by Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who is also one of the coaches on NBC's "The Voice," according to Billboard.

Morrison's second solo recording will be released in the spring.

"Starting my own label has been a long-time goal of mine, and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening," Levine told Billboard. "Great things are in store for [Matthew] with this release." Morrison added, "Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together."

Morrison received a Tony nomination for his work in Light in the Piazza and also appeared on Broadway in South Pacific, Hairspray, A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, The Rocky Horror Show and Footloose. On "Glee," he plays high school show-choir director and Spanish teacher Will Schuester. His debut self-titled solo recording was released in August 2011.
