GO (Boston)→ Tony winner Mary Zimmerman's theatrical take on Disney's The Jungle Book makes its way to Boston. The lavish, India-set musical follows a young "man-cub" (10-year-old Akash Chopra) who is raised by the animals of the jungle. Expect the beloved Sherman Brothers and Terry Gilkyson tunes from the 1967 animated film like "The Bare Necessities," a show-stopping "I Wanna Be Like You" (performed by André De Shields as King Louis) and "Trust in Me." OPENING (TOUR)→ A new Argentina spreads across North America with the first national tour of the Michael Grandage-Rob Ashford helmed Evita. Caroline Bowman, Sean MacLaughlin and Tony nominee Josh Young star as the Perons and Che, respectively, in this Tony-nominated version of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's famous rock musical.
