The writing team of Kaufman and Hart is the subject of the Sept. 6 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the acclaimed PBS talk show that offers interviews with top theatre celebrities and writers. Anne Kaufman Schneider, the daughter of George S. Kaufman; and Kitty Carlisle Hart, Moss Hart's widow, will be on hand to discuss the legendary playwriting team, whose collaborations include You Can't Take it With You and The Man Who Came to Dinner. This episode of "Theater Talk" is closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired.

WNET/Thirteen will air the 1975 revival of Royal Family — written by Kaufman and Edna Ferber — immediately following "Theater Talk." That revival featured Rosemary Harris, George Grizzard, Eva Le Gallienne and Sam Levene.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theatre Talk" airs late Friday night at midnight on WNET/Thirteen.
