The Academy Award-winning composer will be on hand to discuss the Broadway bow of his famed musical with lyricist and book writer Howard Ashman, Little Shop of Horrors. Menken will also perform several songs that were cut from the original Off-Broadway production of the musical. Television watchers can expect to hear Menken perform "The Worse He Treats Me—The More He Loves Me" and "Who's the Shrub We Love?" Menken will also offer a few of the classic tunes that did make the production.

Little Shop of Horrors recently opened on Broadway with a cast led by Hunter Foster (Seymour) and Kerry Butler (Audrey). The original Broadway cast recording was just released on DRG Records. For tickets to the musical at the Virginia Theatre, call (212) 239-6200.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theatre Talk" airs late Friday nights at midnight on WNET/Thirteen. Check local listings for air times in Boston, Hartford and Washington, D.C. or visit www.theatertalk.org for more information.
