The 18th Annual Tony Predictions Special, to air May 28 on WNET at 12:30 AM, will feature Jesse Green of New York magazine, Michael Musto of The Village Voice and Patrick Pacheco of The Los Angeles Times. The three reporters will offer their predictions and thoughts on this year's ceremony along with "Theater Talk" co-hosts, Susan Haskins and Michael Riedel. The show will repeat on CUNY-TV June 5 at 8:30 PM, June 6 at 12:30 PM and June 7 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Bamigboye will visit and offer reviews of The Addams Family, Promises Promises, Million Dollar Quartet, Fela! and other shows, May 28 at 8:30 PM on CUNY. The episode will also look at Fela! and feature interviews with the musical's director-choreographer Jones, producer Hendel and star Ngaujeh. The episode will repeat on CUNY May 30 at 12:30 PM and May 31 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
The Kuchwara tribute episode's airdate will be determined shortly. Kuchwara, who passed away May 22, was a regular visitor to "Theater Talk," and the episode will include clips from his appearances over the years. A clip from one of Kuchwara's appearances is currently available on the show's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94wfQ_MZ8DI).
