News Theatre Aspen Is Beneficiary of Charlie Sheen's Work Release Golden Globe Award-winning actor Charlie Sheen will work at Colorado's Theatre Aspen as part of his plea deal on assault charges, TMZ.com has reported.

Sheen, who pleaded no contest in a domestic violence case, will serve a 17-day jail sentence in Colorado. Part of the deal is that Sheen's sentence will include work release at the theatre. As part of his work release Sheen will coach actors in season productions of The Marvelous Wonderettes, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs and Same Time Next Year. He will also take part in fund-raising events and work with a youth theatre troupe at Aspen's ABC Center.

Sheen currently stars on the CBS comedy series "Two and a Half Men." He is well known for his screen roles in "Spin City," "Major League," "Hot Shots!," "Platoon," "The Rookie" and "Young Guns."
