Misalliance focuses on the Tartleton family whose estate was built on underwear. The play spans the classical standard day-in-the-home of the merchant of the unmentionables and his family. Though a comedy, the play also takes on issues of women's equality and the double standard in Victorian England.

The cast of Misalliance includes George Ashiotis, Gary Bergman, Melanie Boland, Michael Dee, Brian McManamon, Marlene O'Haire, Pamela Sabaugh, Xenophon A. Theophall and Nick Viselli. TBTB artistic director Ike Schambelan leads the creative team as director. Merope Vachlioti designs sets, Marc Janowitz handles lights, David Kaley provides costumes and sound is by Gary Bergman.
