News   Theatreworks Adds CA Debut of Ambition Facing West To Complete Season

The California premiere of Anthony Clarvoe's Ambition Facing West will fill the final slot in TheatreWorks' upcoming season.

The 37th season for the Palo Alto, California company will be performed at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts and at the Lucie Stern Theatre.

The work, according to production notes "spans the globe and the better part of the 20th Century, chronicling a family's migration from Eastern Europe to the United States and beyond."

The world premiere of the musical Vanities will launch the upcoming TheatreWorks season which also includes Dessa Rose, The Learned Ladies of Park Avenue, Brooklyn Boy, Trying and revivals of Follies and M Butterfly.
