News They Changed Broadway to Feature Horowitz, Kaplan, Small and Zagnit The Forum Theatre in Metuchen, NJ, will present They Changed Broadway: From Berlin to Bernstein and Beyond June 13.

A benefit for Congregation Neve Shalom, the 4 PM performance will pay tribute to the great Jewish writers and stars of musical theatre. Those scheduled to perform include Leah Horowitz, Jonathan C. Kaplan, Neva Small and Stuart Zagnit, with a special appearance by Ben Rauch.

Sara Louise Lazarus will direct the afternoon with continuity by Michael Colby and musical direction by Michael Lavine.

There will be evocations of Al Jolson, Fanny Brice, Zero Mostel and Barbra Steisand, as well as tributes to the work of Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers and Jonathan Larson.
