News Things Fall Apart for Nigerian Company in New Jersey, Feb. 23 To help celebrate Black History Month, New Jersey's McCarter Theatre will present the Performance Studio of Nigeria in Things Fall Apart , Chinua Achebe's story of an African warrior whose anger and fear over the breakdown of his society is masked by a manly exterior. The performance will take place Feb. 23 at 8 PM. On Feb. 2, actor-playwright Roger Guenveur Smith was to have performed his celebrated one-man show, A Huey P. Newton Story, also as part of the celebration, but poor ticket sales ended up cancelling the engagement.
