News   Third Annual 'TRU Love Cabaret Benefit' Will Feature Stars, Honor Vogel, Nov. 19 Theatre Resources Unlimited will present its Third annual "TRU Love Cabaret Benefit," an evening of music from a wide array of singers and performers from concerts, clubs and musical theatre, to benefit the programs of TRU. The evening will also feature the presentation of the first "TRU Spirit Award," being given to Frederic Vogel, director of the Commercial Theatre Institute "for his generous contributions to the theatre community," a press statement said.

Theatre Resources Unlimited will present its Third annual "TRU Love Cabaret Benefit," an evening of music from a wide array of singers and performers from concerts, clubs and musical theatre, to benefit the programs of TRU. Performers scheduled to appear in the cabaret include Kathleen Chalfant (Wit), Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll and Hyde), Sandi Durell, Eileen Fulton, Suzanne Ishee, Pamela Lynn, Heather MacRae (Songs for My Father), Kristopher McDowell, Anne Meara (Anna Christie), Mark Nader, Vickie Phillips, Stephanie Pope (Fosse), Ken Prymus, Jana Robbins, Libra Sene, Mary Stout (Jane Eyre), K.T. Sullivan, Jane Summerhays, the Broadway Blessings Choir and more.

The performance will be preceded by a wine reception and silent auction. The "TRU Love Cabaret Benefit" will be held at the John Houseman Theatre. For reservations, call (212) 714-7628.
