Devin Velez was eliminated after he received the fewest votes among the finalists. From Chicago, IL, the 18-year-old Velez sang "The Tracks of My Tears" by The Miracles on the March 27 "Detroit: Music Of Motor City"-themed performance show. The four judges were unable to come to a unanimous decision to use the once-a-season save for the young singer.
On April 3 at 8 PM ET the seven remaining finalists will perform; the theme for the evening is "Classic Rock, No Ballads."
The April 4 results show, which also begins at 8 PM ET, will feature performances by six-time Grammy Award-winning artist and Season Four winner Carrie Underwood (“See You Again”) and Season Nine finalist Casey James (“The Good Life").
