Anne Kauffman directs the production, which will officially open May 16. Performances of the play, the first of Naked Angels' 25th anniversary season, are scheduled to continue through June 20.

[AUDIO-LEFT]This Wide Night is described this way by Naked Angels: "A prison sentence isn't over once you leave jail. Having just begun to rebuild a life on the outside, Marie (Pill) is confronted with her past when former cellmate Lorraine (Falco) shows up unannounced on her doorstep. The two outcasts, once so close on the inside, struggle to navigate a friendship beyond the prison walls — which may threaten their prospects to start over." The play won the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.

About her play playwright Moss previously stated, "[It] explores the importance and uniqueness of relationships formed in prison: how they can, or perhaps cannot, exist in another context; and also resettlement – when 'freedom' can actually feel like a very bleak and frightening prospect."
The play was commissioned and produced by Clean Break and premiered at The Soho Theatre, London.

The creative team includes Rachel Hauck, scenic design; Emily Rebholz, costume design; Matt Frey, lighting design; Robert Kaplowitz, sound design; Deborah Hecht, dialect and vocal coach; Desiree Maurer, props master; April Kline, production stage manager; and Dave Nelson, production manager.

Falco, best known for her work on TV's "The Sopranos" and "Nurse Jackie," has been seen on Broadway in 'night, Mother and Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune. Pill has been seen on Broadway in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Mauritius and The Miracle Worker.

Chloë Moss' plays include A Day in Dull Armour, How Love Is Spelt (Special Commendation from the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize in 2004), Christmas Is Miles Away, The Way Home and Catch. She is currently under commission to Paines Plough, the Royal Court and Liverpool Everyman.

The play is produced by Naked Angels in association with Richie Jackson and H!GHBROW. Naked Angels is currently represented on Broadway with the acclaimed drama-comedy Next Fall.

Performances are scheduled for Tuesday–Friday at 7:30 PM; Saturday at 2 PM and 7:30 PM; and Sunday at 2 PM and 7 PM.
