From his humble beginnings as 'The Singing Dishwasher' in Nevada, to his hit record as 'The Groovey Gringo' in South America, to his Soviet superstardom as 'The Czar of Rock and Roll,' Eugene's story is an international rock epic about one man's search for Marxism, music, and the hottest women on the far side of the Iron Curtain."

Czar of Rock and Roll premiered at Houston's Alley Theatre in 1990. Tickets, priced $20, are available by visiting www.joespub.com. Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette Street.
